Importing Historical Overrides

Imported overrides allow the user to have the system operate as it did at the time of the specified historical simulation (inferred from the historical scada data).

By default, Imported Control Overrides take precedence over 'Regular' Controls. If there is a conflict between a Regular and Imported override, the Imported override will take precedence. If you want the "Regular" Control Override to take precedence, you can increase the priority.

When the calculation option Automatically Import Control Overrides is set to True and the SCADA calculation simulation mode is Historical or Historical (Live Training), pump status and valve status will be imported to Active Control Overrides. First, the existing control overrides are cleared. Then, new control overrides are imported from SCADA data and used in SCADA calculation. When there is conflict between pump (or valve) control and SCADA signal, SCADA signal pump (or valve) status are used in control pump (or valve) status. Only pump and valve statuses within simulation time range are imported.

The following is pump status result comparison with SCADA signal when Automatically Import Control Override is set to false in SCADA simulator Historical calculation. At some calculation time steps, the pump status is different from SCADA signal.

The following is pump status result comparison with SCADA signal when Automatically Import Control Overrides is set to true in SCADA simulator Historical calculation.
